Unfortunately every forum needs rules... it's sad but true....
So, here are the rules for the Loucifer Speaks forum:
1. Don't be a [insert random insult here] - Basically this one covers most things. If you realise that something in your post may offend another member, do us all a favour and not post it. It's simple, yet effective.
2. No racism, sexism or other "isms" that can cause offence. - Not only does it piss people off, it's also against the Proboards TOS.
3. No Porn - Please don't post porn either in threads, your avatar or your signature. If you do, I will remove it. If you keep doing it, you will be banned.
4. Swearing - Swearing is allowed, just don't go overboard
5. Double-posting - This is ok to an extent, but please just try to edit your posts where possible.
6. Advertising - Please keep all advertising in the relevant sections. Advertising in your signature is allowed. I will allow advertising in other threads only if it's relevant to the conversation.
7. Bands - I couldn't think of a better title for this bit - so that'll do! Since this is a music forum, there will be some discussion on music (we would hope so anyway!). If someone mentions a band that you don't like - rather than insulting them - just don't post in the thread. I will accept it if you say "I don't like them" or "They're not my kinda thing", but just random insults will not be tolerated.
8. Signatures - Please keep your signatures to a reasonable size. We don't really have a set limit here, but if one of the staff members feels that your signature is too big then they will contact you and ask you to remove it or make it smaller. Please do not feel offended by this. This rule is just so that everyone can enjoy the forums.
All pretty standard really
Follow these and we'll get along fine.

Getting Started on the Loucifer Speaks Forum

Since the forum was created back in March 2007, quite a few threads have been started on the board and I understand that it can be daunting at first look. So, it's with that in mind that I've put together this little "Getting Started Guide". It will provide you with links to threads that may help you to break the ice
Eek - I've just joined, what do I do now?
Sort out your profile. Your profile is the place where you can keep a little bit of information about yourself (such as your age and a link to your own forum) and where you can sort out your avatar (the nice little picture that comes up every time you post!) and your signature (the bit at the end of your post). All of this can be done by clicking on the "Profile" link in the navigation bar at the top of this forum. If you have any problems then please ask for help (details provided later).
Go to the Introduce Yourself board and tell us a little something about you. You can also let us know how you found the site (I like to know which of my little advertisements is working )
... or just kick back and relax in the General Board!
...Oh! And don't forget to keep checking on LouciferSpeaks.com for reviews and interviews!
That should get you well and truly on your way to being a regular poster here! Feel free to take part in any of the discussions, polls or other threads on the forum
